COCO: Cut-out Compression
Compression is about modifying data to consume less space. Compressing an image easy. Just cut away big parts and you're left with less. Proper selective sampling. You might lose some information here and there. But hey, you win some, you lose some. Right?
Let's have some fun. Grab an image, cut out some small rectangles and form a new image. Use the controls to determine the spacing between cut-outs, and the height and width of the cut-outs. A small grid will show you what parts of the original will be sampled.
